Egret MOPP Tape

Egret Tape founded in 1997 in Changzhou city, Jiangsu Province, covers an area of 13,000 square meters, with a total construction area of 20,000 square meters.

Our main adhesive products could be divided into two broad categories. The first one is adhesive tape series: aluminum foil tape,  PE white Tape, PET Tape, TPP tape, Masking paper tape, Double-sided tissue tape, and PVC tape. The second one is the thermal insulation foam series: sheet or die-cutting of PU/EPDM/PE/XPE/CR/NBR Opcell, non-woven felt, silicone sponge.

MOPP (Monoaxially-Oriented Polypropylene) Tapes are used in many different markets and applications including appliance manufacturing and shipping, normally with very low elongation. The core competence of Egret MOPP Tape is the high-quality natural rubber-based adhesive. The adhesive offers excellent adhesion and stain/residue-free removal from painted metals, stainless steel, ABS plastic, and other common appliance surfaces.

The acronym MOPP stands for mono-axially oriented polypropylene. MOPP boasts extremely high tensile strength and very low elongation, as this backing material is oriented solely in a lengthwise direction. Egret Tape uses this high-quality durable film,  coated with a special high-tack natural rubber adhesive. Resulting in a combination that makes MOPP adhesive tapes true all-rounders.

Egret MOPP normally has two colors available, white and dark blue. Here let me introduce each of them.

For the permanent closure of heavy to very heavy cardboard boxes, palletizing, strapping, and bundling, Egret 110R is the product of choice.

The extremely sturdy and tear-resistant strapping tape with dark blue backing material and an overall thickness of 110μ ±10% is particularly suitable for securing components in the electrical, furniture, automotive and white goods industries. Whether for securing lost parts of a refrigerator or other technical equipment for transportation.

Our Egret 80R with a little thinner backing and an overall thickness of 80μ ±10%, is a versatile, powerful, and economical aid when it comes to bundling and strapping heavy goods, steel coils, metal rods or pallets, also a proven tear-strip for cardboard boxes and mailing envelopes.

Egret MOPP tapes are proven experts for many applications. In addition to their high tensile strength, excellent tack, and immediate adhesion to various surfaces, MOPP tapes are also impact-resistant and shockproof, resistant to diluted acidic and alkaline solutions, and are temperature resistant from -10°C up to 100°C (short-term). Which makes them suitable for almost any packaging task, including applications at minus degrees.
